Lesson Details

The Old Woman’s Lullaby featured in many recordings in the 1960′s and 1970′s but seems to have somewhat gone out of fashion. With a Ground and only two variations it is a short and strongly melodic piece that would be either an excellent introduction to piobaireachd, or would be a very enjoyable tune for anyone that struggles with the technicality of some of the ‘bigger’ tunes!

The score used in this lesson can be found in the Kilberry Book of Ceol Mor.
