Again, not strictly speaking one of Donald MacLeod’s small tunes – i.e not two-parted – Willie Cummings Rant allows the piper to concentrate on some common reel rhythms while also working on GDE gracenote grouping. Like Captain Colin Campbell this is an ideal strength of tune for making the transition onto the bigger tunes.
