Lesson Details

Not everyone has the time or patience to master the technical intricacies of the standard settings of tunes. However, a few well executed gracenotes and ornaments can go a long way. In this first lesson of ‘Simple Settings’ John Mulhearn looks at a stripped back version of the Skye Boat Song, focussing on getting good timing, clean changes and playing what ornamentation that is there with clarity.
