In this first lesson, Finlay MacDonald introduces and explains some of the notational differences between the William Gunn Collection – and other 19th Century collections – and more modern collections. To do this he will look at some jigs; I would have preferred thee at first, but not now Sir, Not in a Bag nor a Sackand Would the Minister Not Dance
