Lesson Details

Donald MacLeod composed a large number of highly original jigs that have become standards over the years. In this lesson, John Mulhearn (covering for Margaret Dunn), looks at two two-parted tunes, The Duck - a very well known tune that has a catchy melody and can be found in Donald MacLeod’s book 4 – and The May Pole which features a lot of GDE groupings through out the tune and can be found in book 6.
