Lesson Details

The Jig of Slurs by G.S. MacLennan has, since its its composition around 100 years ago become a standard of most pipers’ repertoire. For beginners it is – like almost all jigs – quite tricky to play at the desired tempo. However, in this lesson we remove much of the tricky ornamentation allowing greater focus on the clarity of finger changes and rhythm.
