David Wilton works through some challenging exercises to build strength and consistency on the most commonly used bottom hand gracenote, the D gracenote.
One of the hardest parts to master on the bagpipes is the finger technique involved within the tunes we play. This series for e-learning will be tackling the muscle development within a pipers hands. We will be running through a number to hand exercises, breaking down movements and tackling the difficult transitions of technique. The exercises should be done to the point of fatigue while aiming to get the cleanest sound from each movement.
