Lesson Details

The Dark Isle is a very popular slow air, useful for a number of different types of event, and found in almost every pipers repertoire. The isle in question in Benbecula, in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides. This lesson will focus on a simplified setting of the tune, allowing students to focus on clean finger movements whilst developing rhythmic control.
