Lesson Details

The crunluath is arguably the most complex movement in the whole repertoire of pipe ornaments. The climactic variation in almost all piobaireachd use one form or another of crunluath – and use lots of them! It would be fair to say that without a consistently strong  crunluath technique it is very difficult to satisfactorily complete a piobaireachd. In this tutorial we will look at a number of exercises to build strength and consistency into this difficult embellishment.
