Lesson Details

As well as continuing to focus on correct doubling technique in this lesson – featuring doubling exercises from Rhythmic Fingerwork – John takes a look at one of the most challenging movements in the repertoire, the birl. This movement requires a good degree of agility in the little, or pinky, finger. There are a number of different methods that can be applied to play this, all of which will be covered.
