Lesson Details

The Bob’s of Balmoral, refers to Robert Brown and Robert Nicol – two of the 20th Century’s most important tradition bearers. While not a ‘small’ tune in the strict sense – i.e. two-parted – is never-the-less a melodic tune that is an ideal entry level jig to the four-parted repertoire.

The score can be found in Donald MacLeod’s seminal first collection.

Note – when watching this lesson, play ‘Part 2′ first.
